As we experience the universal ground of being, this unadulterated and unfeigned basic space of awareness, we arrive at the timeless space which content is created by how we react to the absorbtions of it when we encounter it, and act on it. When we recognize the spaciousness of the ego, we also come to realize awareness as the space of a self-cognizant cognition, which in itself denotes to the awareness of one’s own cognitive processes, this is highlighting an internal understanding that is existsting independently of external influences, allowing us to recognize one’s own mental existence while engaging in the act of knowing. This self-observation is what transforms into self-reflection and to meditation practises that develops our view, which makes us see the various original forms of absorptions as they appear to us in our relation to the objects of the mind. They are what was there in the universal ground from the very beginning. What we in a transparent sense had to interact with in a personal and cultural sense to be able to see and experience that content and our behavior as we interacted with it. These acting qualities of the mind itself that becomes our reactions and impulses as we absorb them and identify with them, is the oldest primordial cultural layer of the mind in its reaction to the universal ground of beingness. It is the spaciousness that provide consciousness with a stage for the content of the mind that makes us aware of it.
