We do not get what we call personality, our character from our worldly name, the name we associate with our ego. Alongside that, there is a constant exchange and transformation of energy between us and others and the nature we interact with. One aspect of it teaches us things all the time while we alternately teach it as well. We most easily describe it as a form of an ancient elder, a primordial ancestor who was there before we got there, and from which we are instructed and educated. No one can decide for anyone else how it will present itself to us from within our interpersonal space. It’s impossible and concerns each persons integrity. All we can do is to share how we have allowed ourselves to be integrated in relation to the meaning it has for us, and how we allow it to transform what we need to know as we formulate ourselves in our inner dialogue with it. It is just a different kind of participation in what we call reflection.
