An additional thought on the Nobel Prize in Medicine

Regarding the Nobel Prize in Medicine, the method is described as ”one that makes it possible to show how nerve cells shape memories, emotions, and behaviors in a living brain”. The method has also been used to demonstrate which neural circuits control specific characteristics associated with conditions such as psychiatric diagnoses. Of course its about developing accurat medical treatments. But it is also about a whole network of neurologicsl circuits, connected by a set of circuits that are naturally regulated by a field of mental processes assiciated with them and how our perception relates to them in relation to our mind. However, it is not made clear that it is the interaction with our senses that naturally activates these neural circuits, circuits that also maintain their activity and continuously combine it with that of others. I hypothesize that it is our psychological activity that generates their various active states through the mental processes governing them. In themselves, they are devoid of content or the information provided by mental activity unless linked to life sustaining functions or activated by our attention to our mental processes and our participation in the mental structure whose psychological functions trigger these neural circuits; these circuits then naturally switch state as part of individual mental processes and our psychological activity, our development and maturation. Inhibitions affecting these neural circuits impact biological and psychological functioning; conversely, if the circuits function normally but are never activated due to psychologically conditioned inhibitions, this can give rise to their inactivity and to psychological problems. In this sense its a wonderful discovery. But the means to attain them are absolutely horrible.
